Woman Dies After Allegedly Jumping from 18th Floor of Residential Society in Noida; Police Probe Underway
A 46-year-old woman, identified as Parul Agarwal, allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 18th floor of Lotus Spacia Society in Noida. Police said her husband stated she had been under mental stress. A forensic team examined the scene, the body was sent for post-mortem, and further legal proceedings remain underway.
The incident took place at approximately 9:15 am at Lotus Spacia Society, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Sector 39 Police Station. The deceased was identified as Parul Agarwal.
According to the police, the society's security guard immediately alerted her husband, Pallav Agarwal, after the incident and informed the police. A police team reached the location without delay and initiated the required legal procedures. Following the completion of the inquest proceedings, the body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
Police said a forensic team was also called to the scene to examine the location and collect evidence as part of the ongoing investigation. Officials stated that all relevant facts surrounding the incident are being examined.
"On receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot. The woman's husband informed us that she had been suffering from mental stress for some time," the police said.
